Description

Polypropylene webbing is able to hold its shape because it is stretch resistant. It is water-proof, which makes it most useful for projects around water and humidity. It will not absorb water, and as a result it will float. This webbing strap is more resistant to acid and alkaline, oil and grease than nylon webbing.Polypropylene webbing is also easier to sew than nylon. It is easy to clean, color fast and UV resistant.

It is best to use 1" hardware with this polypropylene webbing. Dee rings, buckle, tri glides etc. are sized by the webbing or straps they are meant to be used with.

We use this webbing for our Bag Making Patterns- With the Professional Bag Pattern - we often cover the webbing in one of the fabrics, many of these bags we have made and left the webbing uncovered and they are fantastic!
