What is this notion used for?
It smoothes out the rotation of the bobbin in your machine so that bobbin thread feeds evenly while you're free-motion quilting. No backlash, no sticking, so no more little thread nests and skipped stitches on the back of your free-motion quilts or embroidery. Most heartily recommended to anyone who does free-motion quilting! I wish I had known that this was a product which actually DOES what the manufacturer says it will do, I'd have bought it a lot sooner! Even though I've got it right here in front of my own eyes, it's unbelievable that this little gizmo improves the appearance of the back of my quilts to this extent. It's all that and a box of chocolate!
