This ruler makes squaring up half squares so much easier than lining up a line in the middle of a ruler with a lot of other markings on it.

With this trimmer you can trim before pressing the block open resulting in 2 rather than 4 cuts. Most of the time it can be aligned with one side and only 1 cut is necessary. Also the dog ears can be quickly trimmed at the same time. The trimmers are sturdy and should last a long time.
