Using a #24 Chenille needle with #8 Eleganza (color of your choice), stitch an Italian Knotted Border Stitch (page 62 of Sue's Creative Stitching book) along the inside edge of the wool border.
Using a #3 Milliners needle with #8 Eleganza (color of your choice), stitch a vertical 12-wrap Bullion Knot (page 92) in each valley of the previously stitched Italian Knotted Border Stitch.
Using a #3 Milliners needle with #8 Eleganza (color of your choice), stitch a French Knot (page 104) at the top of each previously stitched Bullion Knot.
