Why is my bobbin jumping?
Sounds like your bobbin isn't seated properly or the bobbin case was not properly/securely placed, sometimes this happens after you've taken it all apart to clean or clear a jam.

If the needle hits the bobbin case,
it may break the tip of the needle. This usually happens if the bobbin case is not placed correctly. After cleaning your sewing machine, you may fail to put back the bobbin case into its original alignment
