Motor brushes - Carbon Brush Singer 221 5.2mm x5.5mmx15.65mm
There are two brushes, one on the top and one on the bottom of the Singer 221 motor.
Brushes come in a set of two.
This is the ONLY old style motor brush still available.
It may fit the following models: 221, 201, 15-91, singer 301, singer 401, 403, 404, 500 Slant-O-Matic series,Singer Slant O Matic ... 3254 3255 3256 3257 3258 3259 3260 3261 3262 331k 441 4414 4415 442, 600 Touch & Sew series, 700 Touch & Sew series and possibly some other models.
be sure that the brush slides freely in the tube.
If you feel it stick, don’t force it in, remove and clean the brush tube again

NOTE: On some models it may be necessary to gently file down all four edges of these motor brushes to make them "Free Fitting" in the motor brush housing.
Remember these are the ONLY motor brushes available for older model Singers.
